3 Reasons not to buy the Google Pixel 7a

1. The performance falls short of the competition

The Tensor G2 chipset, which also powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, is included in the Pixel 7a. While the performance for routine chores is faultless and free of significant hitches. We didn't notice any significant lags or stutters during use; this is mostly attributable to effective software optimization. However, this is where things get tricky when it comes to RAW performance while gaming other resource-intensive jobs. The performance falls short of the competition, especially considering that smartphones like the OnePlus 11R use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC. The Pixel 7a might not be your best friend if RAW performance is what you need.

2. Sluggish charging rates

When compared to the 120W, 100W, and 80W charging rates on rival smartphones, the Google Pixel 7a's 18W fast charging support is incredibly slow. Even after spending about Rs 44,000, this is a tremendous letdown. 3. Only offering 128GB of storage

One storage option, 128GB, is the only one offered by the Google Pixel 7a. While this might be ideal for casual smartphone users, it might not be enough for heavier users who enjoy gaming, taking pictures, and recording movies. Large image sizes from large sensors, like the 64MP device, quickly fill up the storage space. The lack of expandable storage adds to the vows.

4 Reasons to Buy the Google Pixel 7a

1. Superior cameras

The superior photography capabilities of Google Pixel smartphones are well recognized. Following the same course, the Pixel 7a provides a comparable degree of pleasure. First off, the Pixel 6a's 12.2MP primary sensor has been replaced with a 64MP sensor. The Pixel 7a takes some impressive still pictures. The final images are improved by Google's computational technique. High-definition photos were captured with the Pixel 7a under ideal daylight conditions. In its post-processing, the Tensor G2 modifies the exposure levels and dynamic range. Additionally, the phone has a 2X zoom feature. There is a Long Exposure setting that performs as promised by blurring quickly moving background objects while keeping the subject in focus. The front-facing 13MP camera also performs admirably. The photographs taken in low light are also really well done and have excellent details.

2. UI without bloatware

The Pixel 7a comes pre-installed with Android 13 OS and will undoubtedly receive significant Android updates at least for the foreseeable future. In contrast to phones from other manufacturers, Google's Android is free of bloatware and annoying third-party programs that not only use storage but also periodically send spam messages. For those who desire a simple and clutter-free user interface, this is a blessing in disguise. 3. Reasonable battery life

The 4385mAh battery in the Pixel 7a supports slower 18W charging. For the first time, wireless charging is now supported. The Pixel 7a's battery life was rated as being fairly good in our evaluation because it could last roughly six hours on a full charge. For the size of the phone, this is more than adequate. The phone should effortlessly last all day for an infrequent user. The phone, however, requires more than 2 hours to fully charge.

4. A Good Display

The 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen on the Pixel 7a has a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Pixel A-series phone with the high screen refresh rate is the first of its kind. The phone's display is of the highest caliber since it provides clear, vibrant images for both media consumption and gaming.
