Google Pixel 7a features 8GB RAM, a fresh leak claims, suggesting a big boost for the next-generation Android phone.
What looks to be a misplaced prototype of the impending budget-friendly Android phone shows that it is getting a much-awaited makeover. Besides the enhanced 90hz display refresh rate, it might also gain better RAM once it sees the light of day.
Ahead of the unveiling of Google, we now have an idea of what its speculated new Pixel phone might offer once it comes. There have been a few leaks recently. The video demonstrates how the phone appears hands-on, proving that it might potentially offer a buttery smooth refresh rate.
Last year, what looks to be renders of the device surfaced online, hinting that it looks a lot like its older sister, the
Pixel 6a. This time, a claimed prototype of the impending inexpensive phone seemingly has been misplaced.

As to the newest report, Google appears to have been repeatedly losing its prototypes, placing them in strange areas. And now, what looks to be a Pixel 7a has suddenly arrived.
A Twitter user, who goes by the account @chunvn8888, uploaded a photo and video of the missing Pixel 7a prototype. It appears much more real as Google has purportedly barred access to the gadget.
But despite that, the rouge prototype still originally permitted access to the fastboot menu, divulging some facts about the impending Pixel phone.
The fastboot menu suggested that the Pixel 7a might include up to 8GB of RAM. The prototype also comes with 128 GB of internal storage, which might be the base variant of the next-generation A-series phone.

Upgrades on Google's Budget Phone?
According to a report , leaks in the previous months, including the latest leaked prototype, imply that Google is aiming to make its next affordable phone more competitive than ever.
It is worth mentioning that the current product, the Pixel 6a, only supports up to 6GB of RAM. However, it looks like Google is working on updating it for their next affordable tablet.
On top of that, the 6a only comes with the normal 60Hz refresh rate. So the possible 90Hz display is still impressive, but lower than most flagships these days.
On top of these upgrades, the next-generation A-series apparently bears the all-new Tensor G2 processor that we first saw at the Pixel 7.
