Some users have begun seeing the Fall Detection feature of the Google Pixel Watch and being prompted to set it up. The Pixel Watch's missing safety feature appears to be on its way at this time. Google claims that it will undoubtedly become a reality in 2023. According to a claim by XDA Developers, Google's first smartwatch has a fall detection capability. But without it, the Pixel Watch made its debut. As a result, several users were eagerly awaiting its arrival. According to the renowned tech company, customers of the Pixel Watch will get the safety function in 2023. Additionally, some users are beginning to use the eagerly anticipated Fall Detection tool as we ring in the new year. After the user resets the Pixel Watch, the eagerly awaited safety feature becomes available. After that, a prompt prompted the owner to configure Fall Detection.

Uses for Fall Detection

In essence, according to XDA Developers, Fall Detection enables the Pixel Watch to determine whether a user has had a hard fall. The functionality should then prompt its users to decide whether to call 911 or not. It would automatically contact the authorities if users didn't reply. Here's how to access the feature if it has begun to roll out to your Pixel Watch:

  • Go to your wearable's settings menu. Select "Safety & Emergency" next, and then go to "Fall detection."
  • It is important to note that similar detection functionality is available straight now on other well-known smartwatches, like the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5.
  • And this time, it appears that owners of the Pixel Watch are receiving access to a similar safety feature.
Reports claimed that the search engine company hasn't yet made the rollout of the aforementioned feature official. In reality, the online news source reported that as of this writing, a help page was still unavailable. For the time being, you will need to reset your Pixel Watch if you are eager to obtain it right away. You could choose to wait for its formal deployment if that sounds like too much trouble.
