If you're a parent in this day and age of internet shopping, you're undoubtedly keeping your credit card well guarded against your kids. Kids may now request app purchases from their parents through
Google Play.
Children's Play Store accounts now have the option to request parental approval or disapproval for purchases if your household doesn't already have a payment method set up. For you to purchase them paid apps or in-app purchases for games, your children can email you a "permission request." Once a request has been approved, Google will ask you to pay for it using a payment method that will not be disclosed to any other family members. And as soon as you make a purchase, it will be made accessible on your child's Google account.
By doing this, you can purchase digital goods without having to share your credit or debit card as a family payment option or add it to your child's account. You can use this to continue purchasing the occasional game or in-game item without disclosing your payment method to others.
The setup procedure is described in a new support page from Google. Before going forward, you must establish yourself as the group manager in a family.
