Image credit : Google As akin to its key rival, Microsoft, Google has been examining its innovative generative AI features for a couple of months even before the announcement of the general availability of Duet AI for Google Workspace in August. Just by shelling out $30 per user per month, business customers make employees avail of this groundbreaking tool driven by GenAI capability, while leveraging key advantages like writing and editing tasks in real time. What is more intriguing is that Duet AI in-built Gmail can efficiently manage email creation for employees hustling with repetitive and frequently email sending tasks. Duet AI for Gmail is here

The tech giant clarified at its annual Google Cloud Next conference that Gmail users will have access to this innovative feature. The content-writing AI, which is currently the part of both Gmail and Docs, enables simple prompts into a draft copy readily available to be examined by the employee. The renowned tech player made the productivity tool available to the users on Tuesday with a view to assisting employees who fail to make it in time to their meetings, albeit it will enable them to send the AI to meetings in their place. Google is also rolling out a new "take notes for me" functionality, which can take record of notes, to-do lists, and record video snippets. During a meeting, attendees will also have the privilege to chat privately with Google's AI chatbot to take stock of meeting info.
