It has been only a few weeks since the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro hit the stores but are roaring with success making the launch much smoother than it was with the Pixel 6. Google has a whole plethora of future devices planned which includes Pixel Fold and Pixel Ultra along with the most awaited features in devices that will be launched next year. 91Mobiles and Kuba Wojciechowski, a developer came together to share a quick look at the Pixel 8 Pro. Wojciechowski spotted a device codenamed G10 or gepard which means Cheetah in German, before Pixel 7 Pro was officially launched, Cheetah was its codename. Ravenclaw was a merger of Pixel 6 hardware and internals of Pixel 7 and Whitefin was Pixel 5 which was built using a tensor chipset. However, none of these phones made it to the market even though they helped the company in developing future phones. G10 seems to be a prototype phone but will never be sold commercially. It is similar to Pixel 7 with its 1440p display and proportions with no changes. G10 has a huge change, switching the fingerprint sensor with an ultrasonic adaptation which is a welcoming change for those who have been waiting for a fast fingerprint scanner. Pixel 7 and Pro are way better than their forerunners whose sensors were undependable and incompatible with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, but with an ultrasonic scanner, Pixel 8 can. However, it is not clear if the smaller version of Pixel 8 would offer these features. The Pixel 7 series is the best in the Android phone market today making it clear that Google is on the right track in its hardware department.
