Group chats are being replaced by Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams first served as a professional communication tool, but it is gradually becoming available for personal use as well. Teams is currently introducing a "Communities" tool that functions somewhat similarly to Facebook Groups or extensive group chats. Without a business account, basic chats are already supported by Microsoft Teams, and Windows 11 actively promotes that feature. With features you may find in a bigger group chat, Facebook group, or Discord server, the new communities tool expands on that. You may establish a community and invite people to join it, publish messages for everyone to view, plan events and include them on a shared calendar, share and save documents, and search through all of the content uploaded to the group. Microsoft stated in a blog post that "this new experience allows groups of all kinds a digital space to stay connected before, during, and after gatherings," whether your group is a recreational sports team, event planning committee, parent-teacher association, or even a small business. The Teams app for Android and iPhone is the only place where the feature is now available, but desktop platforms should eventually get it too. new Microsoft Teams The communities feature works for small groups of friends and relatives as well as small organizations that might not want to set up managed Teams accounts for everyone. Since it was bundled with Windows 11, it may be Teams' biggest push outside of the business setting; this is yet another indication that Microsoft wants everyone to utilize Teams. However, Skype is still available.
