Gwyneth Paltrow is relaxing in the sun with her kid over the holiday season. The 50-year-old creator of Goop was photographed in Barbados with 18-year-old Apple Martin swimming in the sea. Additionally, both mother and daughter sported two-piece solid-color swimsuits, with Paltrow choosing a black bikini and her daughter donning a bright green one. Furthermore, Martin is currently enrolled in college on the East Coast, so the Oscar winner appears to enjoy spending time with her children. In addition, Paltrow reportedly equated “giving birth” to seeing her oldest child leave home for college. Moreover, when they got back together for a "great few days" in New York City last month, the mother-daughter duo showed off their close bond by going out to dine and shopping together. Additionally, Paltrow confessed last year that “every year on Martin’s birthday, we get a new piercing – it’s this little tradition we have.”

The teen also has no problem poking fun of her well-known mother. Martin mocked her mother's wellness-focused daily ritual on Goop's TikTok account in August 2021. She made light of the fact that Paltrow "eats nothing except for dates and almond butter" and has been on a cleanse “since the day I was born, apparently." Additional details Apple Martin is Paltrow's eldest child with her ex-husband, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin. Moses, a 16-year-old son, is another child they have together. The former couple wed in 2003 and announced their separation as a "conscious uncoupling" in March 2014. In 2017, Martin started dating Dakota Johnson, the star of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Meanwhile, Paltrow wed Brad Falchuk in 2018.
