Hailey Baldwin Bieber got placed in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. The founder of Rhode skincare, who launched her company in 2020 but didn't officially debut it until this year, told Forbes that it felt incredibly nice to be in charge after all the time she had spent sharing her knowledge of the face and beauty industry with other brands. "I think my favorite part of this whole entire process is the creative process. And I get to be in charge of the creative process," she told the outlet in her cover story. "A lot of the time I've lent my name and my face to other people's creative process, and I think that actually has helped me develop mine in a lot of ways. It feels very empowering to be the one that is in charge." Furthermore, Rhode made its formal debut with three under-$30 items in June. According to Forbes, the waitlist for the line has grown to 700,000 individuals since its launch. The model and beauty tycoon also informed the publication that her company is "on track" to generate an eight-figure revenue this year. Hailey Bieber Shares NSFW Bedroom Details About Her & Justin

What's more

While Hailey Baldwin Bieber, 26, acknowledged that she was unsure whether others would respect her presence in the industry ("Does anybody even take me seriously, as a founder, as an entrepreneur" she admitted wondering), she put her self-doubt to the side and started working on creating Rhode because she is so passionate about skin care. Additionally, her goal is to create products that she actually cares about and utilizes. She says now when she skips a step, "my skin doesn't feel the same without it." Moreover, before the launch of her company, Bieber told PEOPLE, "What sets Rhode apart is we're putting out a very curated, edited line of essentials — our philosophy is making one of everything really good." She continued, "For me, that spans across all things in my life — [from] beauty [to] how I edit my wardrobe. It's like that one really good pair of jeans you're always reaching for. That one really good blazer you keep going back to. That's how I look at skin care as well. That one really good moisturizer you keep reaching for. That one really great hydration product you keep going back to. These formulas are very intentional and very specific so that they can become those curated essentials that you keep going back to." More on Hailey's Forbes interview

According to Bieber, who spoke with Forbes, consumers "love the product," therefore she thinks her business will endure for many years to come. In addition, small batches of new products have continued to be released by her and her brand, including a special birthday drop earlier this month when the model turned 26. On another note, she announced the launch of her Birthday Duo on Instagram, featuring a limited-edition Vanilla Cake Peptide Lip Treatment and the Peptide Glazing Fluid, as well as the lip treatment as a single product. "Thank you for the Birthday wishes and love.. hope you love this yummy flavor @rhode," she captioned the post. Both products sold out on their first day of availability.
