The POCO F5 Pro and the less potent POCO F5 have now been given a release date by Xiaomi. A leaker has provided multiple high-resolution renders of the POCO F5 Pro along with a hands-on photo confirming various characteristics, despite the company still having a few weeks before it unveils the pair.

Xiaomi announced plans to market the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro internationally earlier today. A hands-on photo and high-resolution promotional pictures of the POCO F5 Pro have now been published by Sudhanshu Ambhore. The former displays the POCO F5 Pro in its two known launch colors. In other words, Xiaomi opted not to make the Redmi K60 accessible in the blue and green color options.

However, the Redmi K60’s black and white color schemes don’t seem to have changed for the POCO F5 Pro. The latter’s I/O also does not have a 3.5 mm headphone port. Additionally, Ambhore’s leaked hands-on image of the POCO F5 Pro verifies a number of its technical details, including a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU, a WQHD+ (1440p) display, and capability for wireless charging. As expected, the Redmi K60’s 5,500 mAh batteries are not present in the POCO F5 Pro.

Instead, Xiaomi will sell the 5,160 mAh POCO F5 Pro, which supports 30 W wireless and 67 W wired charging. With two additional rear-facing cameras in addition to a 64 MP primary sensor supported by OIS, Xiaomi appears to have kept the camera hardware from the Redmi K60. The couple will make their debut on May 9, as we have already discussed separately. For whatever reason, Xiaomi might only sell the POCO F5 in India while offering the POCO F5 Pro in other regions, such as Europe.
