According to testimony given in court, a prisoner had "inappropriate relationships" with two different women who worked at the prison. While he was imprisoned, Harri Pullen allegedly had affairs with Ruth Shmylo, a prison officer, and Elyse Hibbs, a prison nurse, both 25.
Details about this case
Following her admission that she had made flirty phone calls to "manipulative" Harri Pullen while he was serving his term, Elyse Hibbs has already spent time in jail. And Shmylo is now set to go on trial after denying wrongdoing in a public office about the alleged liaison with inmate Pullen, 25, while employed at a category B prison.
Interestingly, Pullen's name as the Romeo convict was made public during a hearing at Cardiff Crown Court today prior to Shmylo's scheduled trial in September.

On another note, he was sentenced to five years in prison in 2019 for his involvement in a criminal ring that flooded South Wales' streets with cocaine and heroin. And after spending some time in HMP Parc, he was sent to HMP Manchester due to concerns about his interactions with personnel.
But Pullen was given an additional four years and nine months in prison after a disguised phone was found up his behind as he was being moved from HMP Manchester to Swansea Prison in preparation for his release. According to testimony given in court, "manipulative" Pullen interacted with Hibbs and Shmylo while being held at HMP Parc in Bridgend, South Wales.

More details
Elyse Hibbs, a licensed healthcare professional, met Harri Pullen while providing him with medical care in jail, and he later contacted her via Instagram. According to prosecutor Matthew Cobbe, jail administrators sent the prisoner to HMP Manchester because they believed he was engaging in an illicit relationship there. Investigators later discovered Hibbs' phone number on his list of allowed calls for prisoners.

In July 2021, Hibbs resigned from her position at HMP Parc. And a week later, she was arrested and she acknowledged to exchanging texts with the prisoner. Hibbs admitted to police that she was afraid to break off communication after Pullen threatened her earlier. But she acknowledged that she should have reported the situation earlier.
Hibbs, of Newbridge, Gwent, acknowledged improper behavior in a public office.
Recorder of Cardiff Tracey Lloyd-Clarke, told Hibbs that despite being "young" she had "training" and " held a position of responsibility as a nurse and as a member of prison staff," and added that she "failed to report the on-going contact and you failed to report that this inmate had upon him and in custody an unlawful device."

What's more
Ruth Shmylo, on the other hand, will go on trial in September for an alleged relationship she had with a prisoner while working as a correctional officer at Bridgend, Wales's 1,652-person HMP Parc Prison. The charges, according to Cardiff Crown Court, are related to purported phone contacts between her and Harri Pullen, but she "strongly denies" the allegations, according to a previous hearing. Lastly, Shmylo of Treforest, Pontypridd, was granted unconditional bail.
