High school football star Austin Moffitt & Girlfriend killed in T-bone crash

Police in Tennessee said that a semi-truck T-boned a teenage couple's Jeep at an intersection on Thursday night,  causing the death of a couple. According to a police report acquired by the Charlotte Observer, former high school football star Austin Moffitt, 18, was driving the SUV as it rolled through a stop sign between Tennessee State Route 28 and John Burch Road close to Dunlap before the tragic collision. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Moffitt and his 19-year-old girlfriend Alexis McCann died when a 2019 Freightliner slammed into the driver's side of their automobile.
