How to Avoid Distractions in Your Phone to Make You More Productive?

The cellphones that we always have with us are amazing little gadgets that may amuse, inform, and connect us to the rest of the world, but they can also be tremendously distracting. There are several ways to make your phone less distracting if you determine it is consuming too much of your time and attention.

Ways to make your phone less distracting

Minimise your notifications

Depending on how simple you want your smartphone experience to be, make the appropriate decision.

Delete apps you rarely use

Get rid of as many apps as you can, if not all of them, if you wish to adopt mobile minimalism. On an iPhone home screen, press and hold on an app icon and select Remove App; on an Android device, press and hold on an app icon and drag it up to the Uninstall button.

Delete accounts to those unused apps

To check how much time you've been spending in each of your apps recently on Android, visit Settings and select Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls. Select Screen Time in the Settings menu on iOS. Another way to use your phone less is to set restrictions on what apps you can use, which is also available on these screens. Although it is an option, you are not required to delete the accounts connected to these apps. Keep in mind that even if you remove apps like Twitter and Instagram from your phone, you can still access them online (and others can still contact you through them); you'll just be less motivated to do so.
