How to Buy an Apple Watch Series 8, SE and Ultra

According to Apple's press releases from the Apple Far Out event, "Choice" is the company's word of the year. The new range of Apple Watches offers the most variety, but the revised iPhone 14 series also includes a new, larger model and there is also a new iPad. You now have to worry about the Apple Watch Ultra in addition to your option of the new Apple Watch Series 8 or the Apple Watch SE 2. But how do you go about purchasing one when you presumably already have a clear idea of which of the new smartwatches best suits your lifestyle? If you've been waiting out for the enormous Apple Watch Ultra, now is the time to buy since all three of the new Apple Watches are currently in stock. Here are the top new Apple Watch discounts available.

Purchasing from Apple

Apple itself should always be your first stop, unless you're specifically trying to get an LTE Apple Watch from a certain carrier. As usual, Apple has some excellent trade-in offers, and unlike carriers, you can also purchase the Bluetooth models from Apple directly. Apple is an excellent option if you want to split the cost rather than pay in full because they even offer financing plans. You may save up to $155 by exchanging a qualifying smartwatch for a new Apple Watch. Given that the 49mm behemoth is a more specialized item, it may not matter that Apple didn't allow more trade-ins to help offset its astronomical price. For $399, or $16.62 per month for 24 months, you can get an Apple Watch Series 8 (41mm).
  • Starting at $429, or $17.87 a month for 24 months, is the Apple Watch Series 8 (45mm).
  • Apple Watch Ultra (49mm) is available for $799, or $33.29 per month for 24 months.
  • For $249, or $10.37 per month for 24 months, you can get an Apple Watch SE 2 (40mm).
  • The price of the Apple Watch SE 2 (44mm) starts at $279, or $11.62 a month for 24 months.

Ways to purchase from AT&T

  • Price: $500, or $13.89 per month for 36 months, for the Apple Watch Series 8 (LTE, 41mm).
  • $530, or $14.73 a month for 36 months, will get you an Apple Watch Series 8 (LTE, 45mm).
  • The price for the Apple Watch Ultra (49mm) is $800, or $22.23 per month for 36 months.
  • Apple Watch SE 2 (40mm, LTE): $300, or $8.34 per month for 36 months.
  • The price of an Apple Watch SE 2 (LTE, 44mm) starts at $330, or $9.17 a month for 36 months.

How to shop at T-Mobile

[caption id="attachment_60985" align="aligncenter" width="1600"]How to shop at T-Mobile Image credit: alamy[/caption] T-Mobile, like AT&T, exclusively sells the new Apple Watch LTE models, which makes sense given that carriers want you to buy a watch that connects to their network. We're also returning to 24-month payment terms, which is a decent option if you want to finish your payments earlier than AT&T allows. There is no option to trade in, but if you purchase two watches (either two Apple Watches or an Apple Watch and another qualified smartwatch) and activate a new line, you will receive $200 back. Overall, if you want to buy more than one watch but have nothing to trade in, it's probably not the greatest option if you have older devices that would otherwise collect dust.
  • For $500, or $20.84 per month for 24 months, you can get an Apple Watch Series 8 (LTE, 41mm).
  • $530, or $22.09 a month for 24 months, will get you an Apple Watch Series 8 (LTE, 45mm).
  • A 49mm Apple Watch Ultra costs $800, or $33.34 a month for 24 months.
  • Priced at $300, or $12.50 each month for 24 months, is the Apple Watch SE 2 (40mm).
  • Priced at $330, or $13.75 a month for 24 months, is the Apple Watch SE 2 (44mm)

The Verizon purchasing process

Leaving that aside, Verizon offers a respectable selection of discounts. First, you can save up to $180 by exchanging in a qualifying smartwatch. Alternatively, if you want to purchase additional devices, any Verizon plan can save you up to $250 on a second Apple Watch Series 8 or Ultra or up to $150 on a second Apple Watch SE 2. Alternatively, if you purchase it using an iPhone, you'll receive a $120 credit toward an Apple Watch.
  • $500, or $13.88 a month for 36 months, will get you an Apple Watch Series 8 (LTE, 41mm).
  • $530, or $14.72 a month for 36 months, will get you an Apple Watch Series 8 (LTE, 45mm).
  • Priced at $800, or $22.22 a month for 36 months, the Apple Watch Ultra (49mm) is available.
  • For $300, or $8.33 per month for 36 months, you can get an Apple Watch SE 2 (40mm).
  • The price of an Apple Watch SE 2 (44mm) starts at $330, or $9.16 a month for 36 months.
