  5. Afterward, thoroughly dry both the front and back of the Apple Watch and reattach the band. Be sure to completely dry the watch, including the area around the crown.
Important: Given the water-resistant nature of the Apple Watch, you can briefly rinse it under a gentle stream of running water for a few seconds.
