Most of the time, Pokémon develop merely through conflict and XP accumulation. However, some have unique needs for evolution, such as Gimmighoul. This tiny treasure-obsessed Pokémon comes in two basic forms: either as the Pokémon alone holding a penny or hiding in a chest. However, only the chest form can be captured and evolved. You must spend the following fee in order to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo.

It will take a lot of money-grinding to evolve Gimmighoul

  • First, gather 999 Gimmighoul Coins. These can be acquired by tracking down either kind of Gimmighoul (chest form or normal) and interacting with them or engaging in combat with them. The typical form cannot be caught. They will simply flee and leave behind a random number of coins, and they are typically located close to bridges, ruins, and signs. Chest Gimmighouls have predetermined spawn sites, drop significantly more coins when you catch or defeat them, but have a lower likelihood of respawning every day.

  • Your Gimmighoul will develop into a Gholdengo after you receive 999 coins, thus all you have to do is level them up once more, regardless of what level they are at. Be mindful that doing so would result in the loss of all 999 of your coins, necessitating the need to grind them again in order to evolve a second Gimmighoul.
