How to Make App Pairs on the Galaxy Note 8

How to use App Pairing on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is described in this article. The app pairs let you run two apps at once on your screen. If the phone is held horizontally or vertically, the apps will open side by side or one above the other.
  • Activate Apps Edge
  • Select Settings.
  • Choose Display
  • Toggle Edge Panels with the Edge Screen to On \s02 \sof 07
  • Open the Edge app.
  • To access the App Edge, swipe the Edge Panel to the left.
  • Swipe the Edge Panel to the left to access the App Edge. You can access the People Edge by swiping again.
These are the only two Edge features that are activated by default, but you can change that by tapping the Settings icon and turning on or off the features you want. The following Edge features are available:
  • Tasks for Edge Device Maintenance in the Clipboard Edge
  • Tools for Quick Weather
  • Samsung Internet \sSports \sFinance
  • Yelp for Samsung, CNN Smart Select Calendar
  • Applications to Your Edge
  • By tapping the + symbol, choose an open position to add an app pair to.

Tap the plus sign, then choose the app you want to have quick access to, to do that. Users frequently pick the apps they use the most.   • Add a companion app to your edge
  • To start creating an app pairing, select Create App Pair.
  • Start by adding a single app as you would to add an app pair. To add an app, first tap the plus sign (+).
  • Next, click Create App Pair in the top right corner of the screen that appears. Opens the Create App Pair window.
  • Choose two apps from the list of available apps to pair together. Once paired, when you choose the pair from the App Edge, the two apps will launch simultaneously.
  • For instance, you can pair Chrome and Docs to open simultaneously to save time if you frequently use both at the same time.

Therefore, if you selected Chrome first and then Docs, Chrome will be the top window (or left) and Docs will be the bottom window (or right) on your screen. Tap Switch to alter that. Done appears in the top right corner of the screen once you've chosen the apps you want to pair. You will be taken back to the Apps Edge settings page after you tap Done to complete the pairing. When done, click the Home button to go back to your home screen. From this screen, you can also add more apps or app pairings to your Edge. Simply swipe your app edge to the left to access your new app pair, then tap the desired pair to open it.
