Selfie cameras on smartphones are typically superior to those on laptops. But you must attend the meeting from a PC in order to participate in professional video conferencing. Use your smartphone as a webcam to join a video call from a PC to combine the best of both worlds.
To make this happen, you must first determine which videoconferencing app (or apps) your business employs as well as whether you are using the Android, Windows, or Mac/iOS environment.
Finding webcam software that works with your current setup and ecosystem is essential. Apps like Reincubate Camo and DroidCam are popular options. Despite being free, many of these apps contain advertising.
There are commercial versions with improved features like filters, higher resolution, image editing capabilities, and more if you want to go one step further.

Use a tripod to keep your smartphone at eye level or a webcam mount to secure it to your laptop as a first step. You might be able to switch between your front and back camera streams depending on the app you use.
Additionally, there are apps that provide AI-based capabilities for greater control over the aesthetics and quality of the images. Before purchasing an app, make sure to verify the highest resolution that is supported.
The battery life of your smartphone is a different feature to think about. It's simpler on the battery to connect to the laptop or desktop via USB than WiFi.

Install both the PC client and the smartphone app after you have the app of your choice. Try restarting or relaunching both devices if they don't sync.
To ensure that the right camera feed is being aired, test the integration well in advance of your call. You may also need to choose between using the app-based microphone or the default microphone settings.

In order to prevent your laptop or smartphone webcam from suddenly shutting down in the middle of an important interview or show, it is advisable that you keep the setup powered during the conversation.
