You can easily call, email, or text friends and family with just a few taps, even if you don't remember their phone numbers. You can change the list to fit your needs, which makes it easy to stay in touch with the people who are most important to you. The contacts tool on the iPhone is a great way to stay on top of your communication game, whether you use it for personal or business purposes. But what happens if a contact or several contacts are accidentally removed or lost during the sync process or when restoring from a backup? Here's how to use iOS to get your contacts back from iCloud on your iPhone.

This is another reliable way to get back lost contact information, as well as Reminders and Calendar events, and it comes straight from Apple. All you need is a computer, your Apple ID and password, and a little bit of time.
  • Go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  • After logging in, go down and click on the Data Recovery button.
  • Go to the "Restore Contacts" section.
  • You can see a list of the records you've made before. Find an archive that should have all of your contacts based on the times, then click Restore.
