Even when you use Google Chromebooks for your internet needs, there are still some situations where you'll need to get printouts of crucial documents or letters. It's fortunately simple to print from a Chromebook. Some printers, though, are no longer compatible with the laptop.
Follow the instructions below to begin printing:
Incorporate a recent wireless printer
Let's say you already have a recent printer with an internet connection.
You should be able to add it to your Google Chromebook without the need for any other services.
The printer must first be turned on and linked to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromebook for this to operate.
Depending on the model, the process varies, but most printers include a Wi-Fi option on the display, either as an icon or as a choice in the settings menu.
Google's OS now includes a "Trash Bin" to restore accidentally deleted files on Chromebooks.
The next step is to click the clock in the lower-right corner of the screen if the printer is already set up and online.
The settings page can then be accessed by clicking the gear-shaped symbol.
Enter "Print" into the settings panel's search box at the top, then select "Add Printer" from the drop-down option.
To complete the pairing, select your printer's name from the list that appears and press the setup button.
An older printer might be included in the list, but it might not configure itself.
Include A Previous Wireless Printer
You must click the "Add Printer" option if your printer does not show up in the list. Give the printer a name, then enter its IP address in the Address field. The printer's display menu has the IP address. Try looking for a section concerning network or wireless configuration in its settings.Keep in mind to click the "Add" button after leaving the other two fields blank. After that, enter the name and model of your printer and choose the relevant choice when it appears. When you're finished, click the "Add" button.
Link Your Google Chromebook to a Printer
Do not worry if you are using an older printer that is not internet-capable or if it is but you are having problems manually connecting it. According to Go Guardian, you may physically attach your printer to a Chromebook using a USB cable.Just connect the other end of the cord to your Chromebook and plug it into your printer. You might require an adaptor for this process depending on the sort of cable you have and the ports your Chromebook has.A pop-up message requesting that you configure your printer can appear. Simply select "Add Printer" from the pop-up menu and follow the on-screen instructions. If not, open the settings, enter "Print" in the search field, then choose "Printing."Users of Google Chromebooks can disable their Wi-Fi logins to stop their location from being recorded.
