How to Spice Up Your Messages with Live Stickers on iPhone and iPad

(Image credit- appsntips) You may make unique Live Stickers with your images on iOS 17 and later use them as visual effects and quick animations in your text messages on your iPad and iPhone.

How to Create Live Stickers on iPhone and iPad in the Photos app

You may create personalized Live Stickers in the Photos app or in Messages. You'll use them in the Messages app regardless of the app you use to create them. For creating Live Stickers in Photos, follow these steps:
  1. Select the image you wish to use to make the sticker in the Photos app.
  2. The part of the photo that will be the sticker should be tapped and held.
  3. Click on Add Sticker.
  4. The item that was taken out of the picture will show up in the Stickers menu. Tap Delete if you don't like it.
  5. Alternatively, you can modify the sticker's appearance by selecting Add Effect.
  6. To observe an effect applied to the sticker, tap each effect.
  7. Tap Done when the sticker is exactly how you want it to be.

How to Use Live Stickers on iPhone and iPad

It's quite easy to use Live Stickers in a Messages chat. Simply follow these steps if you need to produce a new sticker while testing or if you've already created some stickers using the instructions from the previous section:
  1. Go to the message where you wish to put a Live Sticker in Messages.
  2. Tap +.
  3. Tap on Stickers.
  4. Tap the icon next to Recent Stickers to see all stickers.
  5. Select and tap the image from which you wish to make a sticker.
  6. The app will automatically identify important aspects of the image and outline them so they may be used as stickers.
  7. Click Add Sticker.
  8. Hit Add Effect, then click the options to alter the sticker's appearance.
  9. To remove the sticker, tap Delete.
  10. To save the sticker, hit Done.
  11. To include the sticker in the message field, tap it. Add text is required.
  12. To send the sticker, tap the up arrow.
