Things do change, though, and there may come a time when you no longer want to pin someone down. Snapchat makes it easy to unpin someone. On Snapchat, there are two ways to pin someone, so there are also two ways to unpin them. Any exchange can be pinned to the top of the chat page, and if you unpin it, it will no longer stay at the top. Also, if you have Snapchat Plus, you can pin one person at a time to the top of your chat list by making them your BFF, which stands for "Best Friend Forever." You can also take this back. How to unpin a Snapchat conversation?

Tap the Chat button at the bottom of the Snapchat app.
Find a chat you've pinned that you want to remove. It should be at the top of the list, and to the right, you will see a red Pin sign.
Tap and hold on to the chat until the menu appears.
Tap Settings for Chat.
Tap the "Unpin" button.
Depending on when the last chat was, the conversation will no longer be saved and will move down the list.

How to unpin a Snapchat BFF?

If you pay for Snapchat Plus, you can pin your best friend to the top of your discussion list. It will stay there until you remove the pin.

Tap the Chat button at the bottom of the Snapchat app.
Get a best friend. At the bottom left of the person's image, there should be a smiley face emoji.
Tap and hold on to the chat until the menu appears.
Tap Pin as your best friend. The marking will no longer be there.
Tap Done.
