How Will Apple Users Fare With the Google Apps Integration in the Honda Accord 2023?

Incorporated into its infotainment system, Google apps are available in the 2023 Honda Accord. These new apps are noteworthy because they are being offered right away for the first time by a major Japanese automaker. As a result, the next mid-size sedan comes pre-loaded with apps like the Google Play Store. The next-generation mid-size sedan will soon feature Google's first-party services, according to the Japanese automaker. Given that, customers can now download apps like Google Maps after purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. It essentially improves the next Accord's infotainment system. Users may easily download their preferred apps through the Google Play Store thanks to these built-in apps. Honda owners had to install them using their phones in the past if they wished to do this. In addition, the infotainment system already includes necessary apps. It contains Google Maps, which the majority of us use to get about while we're on new routes. Additionally, it has Assistant, which enables drivers to maintain both hands on the wheel. It's not the first time, claims a Motor Trend story, that a car manufacturer has provided integrated Google apps. In fact, Volvo just added similar features to its new models, which include the XC60 from 2022. Owners of an Accord Touring are apparently required to purchase a monthly data package. Honda remained silent about its pricing, though. So, whether it will be cheap is still up in the air. What about Apple zealots, though? Do not worry, you lot. Apple CarPlay is still available in the Accord, but only the Touring has wireless connectivity. EVs are more popular among drivers than gas-powered vehicles from Toyota, Honda, and other manufacturers. All 2023 Accord grades will come equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, according to the Japanese automaker. The top-tier Touring model, though, allows users to use CarPlay and Android Auto without any wires. So, if you have an iPhone and don't mind using these Google apps that are already built-in, you may use Apple CarPlay. The users will still need to rely on their phones in order to get the applications they want to utilise, though, as there are no integrated Apple apps here.
