In Sydney, an argument in the line for the opening of a sportswear and shoe store resulted in a horrific battle that involved paramedics and law enforcement.
A man is shown being struck in the back of the head by one teen who sprang at him in a dramatic video.
At least 15 punches were then exchanged between the group in chaotic circumstances as other individuals became involved.
Members of the gang could be seen grabbing and punching a man as he tried to flee with his hands up.
On Saturday morning about 6.30 am, everything started to happen outside of Foot Locker at Macquarie Center in North Ryde.
Overnight, a line had formed in front of the store in anticipation of its reopening.
A security guard could be seen speaking into a radio at the beginning of the video that was shared on social media, but he or she took no action.
On Reddit, the video's uploader claimed that someone cut the connection, which sparked the altercation.
Two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old have been accused with assault by the police.
They received conditional bail and were ordered to show up in juvenile court in November.
