For pairing with another device, tap Start Pairing on the watch to pair automatically, and if it does not happen for some reason, you have an option of getting through manually. The dots that float and swirl are the QR codes to automatically pass the information to the iPhone when you scan for pairing.

If you decide on unpairing and cannot do it, below is the way to go about it.

How to unpair an Apple Watch?

  • Open Digital Crown and go to Settings
  • Tap General
  • Click Reset
  • Hit Erase All Content and Settings
  • Open the Watch app on your iPhone and click My Watch
  • Tap on Unpair
  • Click i on the selected item
  • Tap on Unpair
  • Then Confirm

If you want to manually repair your watch with your iPhone, below is the way to do it. Read the instructions carefully and the language you wish to use.

  • Go to Start Pairing

  • Click the i icon on the watch
  • The number visible on the watch needs to be typed on the phone

These steps will get you through in pairing your watch to iPhone, and if it does not and you have issues, you may have to check if there are additional problems in both the Apple Watch and iPhone.
