Infobot, a new AI tool is ready to shake the news industry by effectively creating news updates by using public data, something similar to what journalists do. Additionally, Infobot employs AI to incorporate publicly available information, such as local government updates, to generate news content.

Infobot: AI-Powered News Network to Generate Content from Public Data

Infobot stood out during the Y Combinator Demo Day due to its artificial intelligence skills that are focused on news content development. According to the reports, knowing which aspects of news material will be impacted or which news jobs will be eliminated makes this information crucial. This entails receiving direct information from local government updates, upon which much of the news is based. Justin Harvey, the co-founder and CEO of Infobot, stated that the service is still in its infancy and is being tested. The startup wants to use AI to supply its users with useful news material by covering incredibly specialized areas. How Infobot is Different from Human Journalists

However,  human journalists are still capable of producing updates, discovering non-public information, and even conducting interviews with more complexity, Infobot takes a different approach. This would make it easier to automatically create news reports that are directly derived from updates. On its website, users can either create "channels" that already have their own unique topics or build their own bespoke topics, as per reports. The channels concentrate on particular subjects, and the AI creates information that is only pertinent to those subjects. However, it is noted that despite Infobot's ground-breaking approach to news, it won't take the place of newspapers. Instead, they want to use artificial intelligence to increase the market for news. Also,  it intends to employ a subscription model to earn income in the future while disclosing how the usage of its service has changed. The CEO mentioned that many users initially use their service to track investments. Meanwhile, they now serve additional clients, such as company executives, startup founders, and even community leaders, the types of users they originally had have changed.
