iRobot, a manufacturer of robotic vacuums, recently unveiled the Combo j5+ lineup, and now it expanded its product line yet again with the introduction of the iRobot Roomba Combo j9+ Robot Vacuum and Mop.
The Roomba j9+ and the Roomba Combo j9+ incorporate iRobot’s most recent technology. The company claims that these are the smartest and most potent versions yet, addressing issues with earlier models.
A basic j9+ robot vacuum is also available if you don’t require a mop; it uses the same technology as the Roomba Combo j9+ but lacks mopping capabilities and is less expensive.
iRobot Roomba Combo j9+: Vacuums and Mops High-Pile Carpets with Ease
The iRobot Roomba Combo j9+ features a swinging mophead that can retract to the top of its chassis, something different from most robot vacuum and mop combos as only low-pile carpets can be cleared by other products, which simply raise the mophead a few millimeters.
Due to its ability to clean all surfaces without dragging a dirty mop across your “clean” carpets, the Combo j9+ is an attractive option for houses with both hardwood floors and high-pile carpets.

Other noteworthy features include pressurized mop scrubbing for better cleaning, sensors to automatically change suction for particularly dirty surfaces, and outstanding navigational capabilities that let it avoid obstructions like cords, shoes, clothes, and pet toys.

The iRobot Roomba Combo j9+ robot vacuum and mop can refill liquid for up to 30 days using its sizable base station and can store trash for up to 60 days.
The robot will gradually learn your cleaning preferences and establish a routine that determines which areas of your home require more attention, traveling over these areas many times or increasing suction as necessary. This is made possible by the special Dirt Detective software that comes with iRobot OS 7.0.
On the other hand, the iRobot j9+ robot vacuum has a similar history, except it lacks mopping functionality. If you need something more reasonably priced and don’t mind wiping your own kitchen floors, give it a try.
Preorders for the Roomba Combo j9+ Robot Vacuum and Mop are now open and the cost is $1,399. The Roomba j9+, which retails for $899, is also available for preorder. Later this year, both are anticipated to be launched.
