Jinger Duggar Vuolo hasn't noticed any changes in her brother Josh Duggar. On Tuesday's
Tamron Hall program, which aired the same day as the release of her new book,
Becoming Free Indeed, the 29-year-old reality star discussed her relationship with her incarcerated sibling.
Additionally, Jinger stated of Josh, 34, who is presently serving more than 12 years in prison for possession of child pornography, "I haven't spoken to him in years. I just would pray that he would be truly broken over what he has done. So I just pray for the victims and their families."
Jinger also discussed the concept of change and how it may act as atonement in a situation like Josh's. She said, "I think that part of this story that I'm telling is you can't put up all of these outward standards and rules and say that's going to do anything. It's not. Your heart has to be changed from the inside out and only Jesus can truly change that."
Furthermore, Jinger claimed that Josh has not yet experienced the change. She remarked, "That's not something I saw in my brother. He's not truly changed. So until God does that, it's only what God can do."

What's more
On another note, Jinger Duggar Vuolo acknowledged that it's "really tough" when asked if she still thinks of Josh as her brother. In addition, in her most recent book, Jinger discusses her relationship with religion as an adult and some of the changes she's made to her lifestyle after growing away from the rigid guidelines of the Institute in Basic Life Principles, which was founded by disgraced priest Bill Gothard in 1961. Lastly, Jinger's journey toward separating herself from the contentious group has brought her closer to her faith, which she now practices according to her own terms.
