Kim Kardashian, a reality TV personality and business tycoon, responded to the controversy involving one of her favorite labels, Balenciaga, on Twitter. Recall that after releasing its most recent ad, the design company found itself at the center of a dispute last week. Children were shown in the series of commercials carrying the company's "plush bear backpacks," which are equipped with S&M-style harnesses. Another advertisement for their "hourglass bag" featured court records from child pornography cases. The brand issued an apology for any offense caused by the advertisements showing young children carrying the bags on its Instagram Stories, stating: "We deeply regret any hurt our holiday campaign may have brought. In this advertisement, children should not have been shown holding our plush bear bags. The campaign was promptly taken off from all sites." Kim Kardashian After several days, Kim has finally spoken up about the situation. She said to her fans, "I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven't been appalled and upset by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted the chance to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have occurred. Children's safety must be prioritized, and attempts to normalize child abuse of any type should be rejected outright by our society "Kim continued. "I appreciate Balenciaga's apologies and removal of the advertising. After spoken to them, I have faith that they recognize the gravity of the situation and that they will take the necessary steps to ensure that it never occurs again." Kim Kardashian’s Crypto Case Kim responded to the question of whether she had any future plans to collaborate with the company by saying, "As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it on their willingness to accept accountability for something that shouldn't have happened in the first place — and the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children." Balenciaga has deleted its Instagram account in response to criticism of the campaign, but the brand's apology is still accessible under the Highlights tab.
