Kuo: iPhone 16 Pro to feature bigger display and periscope lens

Only the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max, according to rumors about the iPhone 15 range, will have a periscope lens on its rear camera. The periscope lens is supported by a prism that reflects light at an angle of 90 degrees to many internal lenses and the camera sensor. This makes it possible for the lens to be much longer than a telephoto lens, leading to a significantly improved optical zoom. Apple may choose to use a 6x lens, as some analysts predict, or it may strive to match the 10x magnification of Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra. Kuo repeated rumors about Apple's mixed reality headset on the same subject. The analyst reiterated that the first headset is anticipated to cost $3,000 and that there will be high-end and low-end, more economical versions.
