Depending on how accurate the most recent rumors are, AMD's RDNA 3 graphics card may go on sale in the first week of December. Additionally, the latest speculation comes from Greymon55, a frequent contributor to GPU leaks on Twitter, who thinks the next-generation RX 7000 graphics cards will debut between December 1 and December 5. Hence, the company reportedly delayed the original on-sale date by around a week.
Furthermore, a Twitter user questioned whether there could be problems with the power connector (and adapter) as the source of the alleged delay, and Greymon assured them that there are, luckily, "no hardware issues involved."
Moreover, since Nvidia's RTX 4090 has been linked to recorded occurrences of cables melting (possibly due to the adapter not being seated properly in the port of the graphics card), some people have grown suspicious of power adapters.
However, there's no need to panic as Team Red's Scott Herkelman already stated that AMD won't be following in Nvidia's footsteps with its flagship RDNA 3 adaptor. On the connector front, however, we are not yet sure of the answer - only time will tell. (It appears most likely that the flagship will have a 3 x 8-pin configuration.)
