The 13.3-inch business laptop is the smallest in the world and is also one of the hardest to get your hands on because Lenovo only sells it in Singapore and Japan. The FMV UH-X series, sold under the Fujitsu brand, came out just four months ago without much fuss. This is hard to believe, given how much power is packed into such a light package. The 4ZR1L13925 has a catchy name and is the smallest of the three, weighing just 868g.
World’s Lightest Laptop
The FMV UH-X 4ZR1L13925 is the world’s lightest 13.3-inch laptop right now, but it doesn’t hold the record for the world’s lightest laptop ever. That was on the FMV UH-X 4ZR0X81523, which was made in 2018 and weighed 778g.
Lenovo says that the current UH-X series, which is made up of the 888-gram 4ZR1L13926 and the 918-gram 4ZR1L13927, is made with a magnesium chassis that has been put through thorough MIL-STD shock and vibration tests.
The 886g model only has an Intel Core i5-1335U chip, but the two heavier types can be upgraded to have an Intel Core i7-1360P chip. All versions come with Intel Iris Xe Graphics and 16GB LPDDR5 RAM.
The FMV UH-X line has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, HDMI, microSD, and an Ethernet RJ-45 port. All of this is true even though it is heavy and up to 17.3 mm thick (the thinnest form is 15.8 mm).
Battery and Price
Lenovo says this comes with a battery life of up to 16.5 hours and fast charging that can get the machine to 80% power in an hour. The FMV UH-X devices also have business-oriented features like AI noise reduction and AI camera effects, as well as a webcam shutter to protect privacy and a fingerprint reader that works with Windows Hello.
Right now, you can buy the machine from local sellers Lazada and Shoppee. Each of these three machines costs between $1,799 and $2,199.
