The Tiger Lake processor within the Aspire 5 creates very little noise, barely gets warm, and rarely gets hot. It also has a lighted keyboard, a respectable battery life, and a two-year warranty. Under 500 euros ($518) will get you the entire set. The Acer Aspire 5 A515, a 15.6-inch business laptop, is available from Acer in a plethora of configurations priced between 400 and 900 euros. The model used in this test is available for about 500 euros ($518). Pentium to Core i7 Tiger Lake CPUs is utilized across the board. Even a GeForce MX450 graphics card is included with more expensive models. Daily tasks (office, internet, streaming) are handled without difficulty by the CPU. 8 GB of RAM is used to help you accomplish this. The computer has one open memory slot, therefore memory expansion is feasible. The available mass storage (512 GB SSD, PCIe 3, M.2 2280) should be adequate. Should this not be the case, the Aspire can be customized with an additional 2.5 inch storage device. The laptop includes a mounting frame and a SATA slot. An adequate to good value, a full battery charge (53 Wh) allows for roughly 8 hours of Wi-Fi networked internet viewing. It's a shame that USB-C can't be used to charge the battery. The matte FHD screen (IPS) won't win any awards, but it's perfect for the price. A two-year guarantee and an illuminated keyboard complete the entire set.
