Major League Soccer and Apple announce the broadcasters for the MLS Season Pass

The first members of the accomplished announcer team that will serve as the faces and voices of MLS Season Pass, the ground-breaking subscription service that launches on the Apple TV app in more than 100 countries and regions on February 1, 2023, were revealed today by Apple and Major League Soccer. There will be a talented group of broadcasters and soccer legends leading the coverage, including Kyndra de St. Aubin (match analyst), Maurice Edu (match analyst), Lori Lindsey (match analyst), Danielle Slaton (match analyst), Taylor Twellman (match analyst), Marcelo Balboa (match analyst), Sébastien Le Toux (match analyst), Sacha Kljestan (studio analyst), Bradley Wright-Phillips (studio analyst), Diego Valeri (studio analyst (play-by-play). Prior to the start of the MLS 2023 season, which starts on February 25, the whole on-air broadcast team, which includes many of the industry's most qualified and compelling commentators, and the full production schedule for MLS Season Pass will be revealed. It will be possible to watch pregame shows and the postgame wrap-up in both English and Spanish. Where available, supporters in the US and Canada will also have the choice of selecting their home team's radio for the broadcast audio on the Apple TV app. Top-notch analysts Since finishing her undergraduate soccer career at Minnesota in 2003, Kyndra de St. Aubin has worked in the broadcast industry. She has worked at two FIFA Women's World Cups—in 2015 and 2019—since joining the FOX Sports team in 2011. She has worked as a television analyst for Minnesota United FC for the past five years. Maurice Edu, a 2010 US World Cup team member who played 12 seasons in MLS and Europe, has worked as a FOX Sports analyst for the past five years. Additionally, he provided soccer commentary for CBS Sports the previous two seasons while calling Atlanta United games. She has also worked for Nashville SC as a supplemental reporter. As a member of the US Women's National Team, Danielle Slaton won a silver medal in the 2000 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal at the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2003. For the past 13 years, she has worked as a television game analyst. She joined Lisa Byington and Katie Witham on the first all-female broadcast crew to cover one of the five major US men's sports leagues in 2018, covering the match between D.C. United and the New England Revolution for FOX Sports. The product of Rennes, France, had an 11-year MLS career, spending six of those years with Philadelphia, when in 2010 he earned the team's first-ever All-Star. Sacha Kljestan has recently retired from the LA Galaxy and has joined MLS Season Pass as a studio analyst. Kljestan, a former player for the US Men's National Team, had 13 seasons in MLS and was selected for two All-Star games (2008, 2016). In 2008, he was a part of the US Olympic squad. Kljestan most recently worked as an analyst and digital host for Fox Sports' coverage of the 2022 World Cup. Diego Valeri, the MLS MVP in 2017 and the MLS Cup MVP in 2015, has scored the most goals in Portland Timbers history. Four times an All-Star, he helped the Timbers win the 2015 MLS Cup. He'll make his television debut as a studio analyst speaking Spanish.
