It's possible that Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever takes its moniker literally. According to new theatre listings, the Marvel Phase 4 sequel is currently the second-longest MCU film. ComicBook.com's Marvel Cinematic Universe podcast Phase Zero recorded a live episode from Anaheim, right outside the Anaheim Convention Center, following the Marvel Studios presentation at Disney's D23Expo on Saturday. Jamie Jirak attended the presentation and saw all the gorgeous trailers for movies like Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Marvels, and more. Backstage, Brandon Davis was waiting in line to conduct interviews with the actors and directors who had just arrived on the red carpet. Black Panther 2 Runtime Makes It One of Marvel's Longest Movies Ever The Marvel's Multiverse Saga Phase 4, 5, and 6 titles are covered in detail during the bonus episode of Phase Zero, along with descriptions of the exclusive footage only seen at D23. In addition to Jenna Anderson speaking from her home in Chicago, Aaron Perine joined Jirak and Davis live. The dialogues also include a discussion about what was anticipated during the panel but did not appear on the show and sneak peeks of the exclusive interviews posted on the Phase Zero YouTube channel. The Wakanda Forever length has been listed as 161 minutes by several cinemas, including Cineplex and Regal Cinemas(opens in new tab) (2 hours and 41 minutes). If true, with an astounding runtime of 181 minutes, only Avengers: Endgame can beat it. In contrast, the length of the first Black Panther movie was 134 minutes. Black Panther 2 Runtime Makes It One of Marvel's Longest Movies Ever Even though it's important to emphasize that a film's duration is not a good or bad indication of its quality, it is noteworthy that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever would get closer to the three-hour mark than any other non-Avengers MCU movie before it. At SDCC, the first and sole trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was unveiled. In addition, the Disney D23 expo also featured the release of a behind-the-scenes video. Here is a sample of what was shown in the short video. The November 11 release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, starring Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, and Winston Duke, signals the conclusion of Marvel Phase 4.
