According to recent spoiler reports, "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" will include a new enemy who will make it difficult for our heroes to deal with the threats to the planet and New York City. Two heroes have been revealed for the game, and they are the two Spider-Men from previous Insomniac games who will be paired with Venom, Spidey's most infamous foe.

Details about another villain

The game is apparently getting another enemy in addition to the carnivorous symbiotic extraterrestrial as Marvel and Insomniac prepare it for its impending release. On another note, they recently returned from beta testing "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" for the PlayStation 5, according to a recent 4chan post. Here, the leaker claimed that a second antagonist wearing a green ski mask who is first encountered in the game exists. The leaker also stated that this was Sin Eater, a well-known Spidey antagonist from when he first appeared as the web-slinging hero in comic books. However, the leaker asserted that the bad guy is an NYPD officer who doubles as a serial murderer and hides among law enforcement personnel. In addition, this figure is connected to Eddie Brock, the original Venom, who was exposed as a fraud after speaking with a random individual posing as Sin Eater. The true Sin Eater was captured by Spider-Man, which resulted in Brock's dismissal from the Daily Bugle. That also leads to his Venom origin tale, which he discovered after coming across the symbiote in comic books. Also, since Peter Parker has already left the Bugle in this timeline from the "Spider-Man" video game, it's possible that there won't be any deep dives on the Venom/Sin Eater timeline like there are in the comic books. Lastly, the leaker claimed that although Sin Eater was not directly depicted, there is another character in the game who resembles him.

More details

The well-known "Marvel's Spider-Man" video game franchise, which debuted in 2018, has two releases from Sony and Insomniac Games for the PlayStation 4. When the PS5 sequel was unveiled in late 2020, the game's cult following kept a close eye on Sony's development. In addition, the game achieved widespread fame among gamers. Moreover, being one of the main offerings of the current-generation platform, "Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales" entered the globe during the pandemic and gave players the opportunity to explore it thoroughly. And despite the switch in protagonists, the other Spider-Man standalone game enjoyed tremendous public appeal, inspiring a franchise to also continue the 2018 game. The "Marvel's Spider-Man" video game series is finally releasing a follow-up to Peter Parker's story that would delve deeper into his comic book past and also feature Miles Morales, with the pair encountering notable villains like Venom and perhaps Sin Eater.
