The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, the Taiwanese fabless chipmaker established a partnership with the local manufacturer of mobile devices for the newest Dimensity chip and others.
The Arm Mali-G68 GPU is combined with MediaTek’s new octa-core Dimensity 7050 chipset, which contains two Arm Cortex-A78 processors with up to 2.6GHz clock speeds.
The Dimensity 7050 has a specialized 4K HDR video capture engine, supports 200MP images, and supports 4K HDR video. It also has a MediaTek APU 550 for AI camera improvements.
The new MediaTek chipset offers mixed duplex FDD+TDD, which uses both low-band and mid-band, as well as Wi-Fi 6 with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5G, GNSS, and 5G Carrier Aggregation (2CC-CA). It also has a number of improvements for saving battery life.
