The Quest Move will soon get a brand-new function dubbed "Health Connect" from Meta as part of its connection with Google and Android. With the help of this future integration, users will be able to record their VR activities, such as workouts and other exercises that track their progress and provide additional data to connected smartwatches or apps.
Future users won't have to manually enter this information because Meta's native Quest Move app will eventually make advantage of it and do it for them.
New details about Meta's Quest Move experience's most recent integration with VR headsets and other hardware have been made public. What to anticipate from VR headsets in the future is covered in this most recent blog article, particularly in light of the Move's ability to send statistics and information to the Meta Quest app and the Health Connect by Android.

The release claims that when it links to the Android health experience, it will instantly capture the user's data from their VR workouts and exercises.
The Quest Move and Meta Quest apps' earlier
sync capabilities, which allowed for the transfer of necessary data from one source to another, made this
Android Health Connect viable.
The Google Play Store now offers the Health Connect app in beta testing mode.
Data from Meta's VR Workout
According to Meta, working out in virtual reality is enjoyable, and to get the most out of the platform, users must move their bodies, react, and use other controllers.
The Health Connect will now automatically capture a user's VR workout data and send it to other apps that also require it to record a user's fitness activities.

Meta's VR Initiative
The Oculus acquisition by Meta, a company with a well-known VR programme, gave it a boost in direction and capability toward the open virtual world. The is Mark Zuckerberg's company's most recent wearable. The company's top-of-the-line VR headset, formerly known as "Project Cambria," is now Meta Quest Pro.

The business will discontinue providing upgrades for the original Oculus headset, especially for the well-known Quest VR. Although this does not completely render the VR gadget outdated, users can no longer use social functions like chatting and joining parties. They may still play games and access a variety of experiences.
Because of its plans to develop the metaverse, the first virtual reality experience for the entire planet, there is a great deal of attention being paid to Meta's VR programme. And while customers still need to wait for that, current Meta VR experiences will get the Health Connect function, which will track all of their progress for fitness requirements.
