Michigan State University campus shooting: Three people dead after a suspect opened fire in several buildings

A suspect opened fire in several buildings on the Michigan State University campus on Monday night, leaving three people dead. According to police, the shooter is no longer alive. The police department informed the public that Berkey Hall had been shot at earlier in the evening and that responders were on the scene through Twitter. The "suspect is believed to be on foot right now," MSU police said in a brief update. They added, "Community members on and off campus should continue to shelter in place.
