More details
Players in these new markets will be able to access the PC Game Pass Preview program as of February 28. It will give customers immediate access to a collection of hundreds of top-notch PC games running on Windows, including fresh releases from Xbox Game Studios on the first day, beloved Bethesda titles, an EA Play subscription, and Riot Games member-only privileges.
Additionally, the PC Game Pass library is continually expanding, and soon there will be even more excellent Xbox and Bethesda games available. The action-strategy game Minecraft Legends will debut on April 18. And on May 2, Arkane Austin’s first-person shooter Redfall will be made available. In addition, with this significant expansion, Game Pass will now be available in 86 countries. Microsoft hopes to use new markets to grow its subscription service.
Moreover, Microsoft claims that despite Xbox executive Phil Spencer’s warning that Xbox Game Pass growth on consoles was slowing in 2022, PC Game Pass memberships had surged by 159 percent year over year.
According to a news release from Xbox’s CVP of gaming marketing, Jerret West, “In the coming months, PC Game Pass will launch in these countries for all players to experience. This means that Game Pass community members from 86 countries around the world can play hundreds of games together with their friends and family.”
“We look forward to welcoming more players from around the world to the Game Pass community.”
