Monterey Park Mass Shooting: Coroner Has Identified All The 11 Fatal Victims

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner has identified each of the 11 victims killed during Saturday's Monterey Park mass shooting at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio in Monterey Park, California.
Here is the list of the victims:

- Lilian Li, 63, female
- Xiujuan Yu, 57, female
- Muoi Ung, 67, female
- Hong Jian, 62, female
- Diana Tom, 70, female
- Yu Kao, 72, male
- Chia Yau, 76, male
- Valentino Alvero, 68, male
- Wen Yu, 64, male
- Ming Ma, 72, male

Furthermore, the horrific mass shooting, which left several more victims injured, happened the night before the Lunar New Year, a significant celebration in many Asian communities. Additionally, tens of thousands of revelers had gathered nearby earlier that day to take part in the festivities.
Moreover, the shooter went on his way to another adjacent dance venue with his firearm just moments after the shooting spree at the Star. But he was bravely stopped by an employee, Brandon Tsay, who authorities claim saved additional lives.

However, the shooter fled after being disarmed at the second studio. In addition, he remained at large until Sunday afternoon, when he was discovered dead in Torrance, roughly 30 miles from Monterey Park, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The shooter of the Monterey Park mass shooting was identified by police as Huu Can Tran, 72, a resident of Hemet, California. Additionally, he apparently frequented Star Dance Studio. On the other hand, the shooting's motivation is still a mystery.
