Motorola's upcoming Razr 40 Ultra foldable specs leaked

Image credit : 91mobiles.com As Motorola prepares for its upcoming foldable, new information has emerged revealing the specifications of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. Motorola's foldable handsets have so far trailed behind similarly priced smartphones in terms of internal components. The Snapdragon 710 chip that powered the 2019 Razr was replaced with the Snapdragon 765G chip in the Razr 5G refresh, which is the same chip used in Google's Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 devices. Now, the company will be bringing a significant upgrade with the 2023 Razr, known as the "Motorola Razr 40 Ultra" according to recent leaks. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will run a flagship chip, but not one from 2023, claims XDA. According to reports, Motorola will employ the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU as Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 4. It is still a very powerful and effective chip, albeit not quite as powerful as the more recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Although not measured, the inner display would have a resolution of 2640 x 1080 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The outside display would have a 1056 x 1066 resolution. Motorola is still supporting the use of entire apps on the cover display, although not all apps will have this feature by default.
