New Headset Meta Quest Pro To Cost $1,500

Meta’s new VR headset Meta Quest Pro will cost $1,500 and will be shipped from October 25th according to Mark Zuckerberg, the company’s CEO stated on Tuesday. The new headset has new technologies like Qualcomm's Snapdragon computer chip which helps the device produce more trailblazing graphics. Ithas improved controllers with sensors for better tracking of hand movements and new lenses for a better experience in reading. The headset has some qualities that can blend the virtual world with the real world. The company has tried implementing a new feature for the metaverse for digital worlds that can be accessed from AR or VR headsets. Meta’s new VR headset Meta Quest Pro will cost $1,500 and will be shipped from October 25th according to Mark Zuckerberg, the company’s CEO stated on Tuesday.

Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO also made an appearance at the online event and mentioned the partnership with Meta and bringing some of his apps to Quest devices. The Microsoft apps that can be used through Quest devices are Xbox, Microsoft 365, and Team. Nadella stated, “You will be able to play 2D games with your Xbox controller projected on a massive screen on Quest,” “It’s early days, but we’re excited for what’s to come.” Meta shares went down by 4.5% during the day to $127.85 following a slow response to the VR headset from the investors.
