YouTube Music’s interface has been updated several times in recent years, and a new one is on the way. YouTube Music may be working on playlist cards, according to 9to5Google. These will be more detailed than the existing playlist tiles that we see.
The playlist tiles were only used to display four album covers of songs from the playlist. Aside from that, you can press the start button or access extra options such as shuffle, edit, and so on.
YouTube Music playlist cards could be in testing.
This feature appears to be on the way, but you should still take this news with a grain of salt. YouTube has not publicly revealed anything about this feature.
The YouTube Music home screen is intended to provide you with as much content as possible on a single screen. This is the reason it has a grid of your playlist tiles so you can scroll through them quickly.
A relatively tall card with a playlist outlined will appear on the home screen. This is a useful addition to YouTube music because it allows you to discover new music. You’ll also have access to much more user-created playlists, which should give you access to a wider variety of music.
Often, music streaming service algorithms only prioritize the most popular and mainstream music. That can quickly become tedious. You might discover your next favorite underground band while listening to music from other users.
We don’t know when this feature will be available to the public. It’s presumably in testing right now, so we might have to wait a little longer until we see the YouTube music playlist cards.
