New Samsung Devices Has The Most Tough Body

Samsung is expanding its phone lineup in the United States. Unlike Samsung's flagship Galaxy S22 family or premium foldable Galaxy Z phones, the Galaxy XCover6Pro is a rugged device designed primarily for industrial and enterprise use. The most intriguing feature is that the batteries are removable, which should improve its longevity in the industries it is expected to serve. It will be released in the United States on October 22nd, after first appearing in other markets, and it is the South Korean company's first rugged phone with 5G compatibility. Samsung Bring Rugged Smartphones and Tablet

According to Samsung, the Galaxy XCover6Pro can withstand drops of up to 1.5 meters. Today, Samsung also launched its rugged tablet, the $649 (approximately £580, AU$980) Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro, in the United States. MIL-STD-810H compliant, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro and Galaxy XCover6 Pro can withstand high altitudes, extreme temperatures, and a wide range of vibration and humidity. The tablet has Gorilla Glass 5 screens, while the smartphone has Gorilla Glass Victus Plus screens, similar to the ones found on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 devices. They're also both IP68 dust and water resistant. Like the XCover6Pro, the tablet has removable batteries and 5G compatibility. The Galaxy Tab Active4Pro comes with 64 or 128 GB of storage, while the XCover6 Pro only has 128 GB. Both devices have microSD expansion slots for up to 1 TB of additional storage and are powered by the same 6nm processor with 6GB of RAM. Samsung Bring Rugged Smartphones and Tablet

The Tab Active4Pro also has a No Battery Mode, which allows you to plug in the device and use it without affecting the battery pack's overall lifespan. It's also a way for Samsung to encourage more businesses to use its hardware as a kiosk, which is a good use case for a rugged device given how customers can treat them. Both devices include Samsung's desktop-like DeX mode. Each device has programmable buttons that can be set to launch specific apps or features as a shortcut. While replaceable batteries and custom buttons seem like features that would be useful on any phone, the Galaxy XCover6Pro and Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro were designed primarily for industrial use. Because these devices are intended for enterprise and industrial use, they will be available through Amazon Business and IT channel partners, as well as Samsung's website.
