Starting with the standard 7 with rear-facing RGB logos set into a new two-tone finish, it moves up to the 7 Ultimate with a rear-mounted OLED "ROG Vision" secondary display and an AeroActive port to supplement the series' new GameCool 7 thermal management system for its "no-compromises" internals. The new AeroActive Cooler 7 attachment, which includes a subwoofer for the first time, launched alongside the 7 and 7 Ultimate. The latest series of premium Android smartphones from Asus claims to be the "gaming phone[s] of your dreams." However, they are equipped with the most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, as well as the unique option of NTFS expansion. In actuality, the 7 and 7 Ultimate are essentially updated 6D Ultimates under their new color schemes. For instance, all 5 devices may have the exact same 6.78-inch display. This could be because it continues to set the standard for industry-leading FHD+/165Hz OLED panels, with this generation's peak brightness increasing to 1,500 nits. Similar to how the selfie camera has been improved to 32MP in the newest versions (perhaps for mobile streaming) and the OS is now based on Android 13 out of the box, the 6 and 7 series have the same rear cameras (with the outdated Sony IMX766 as a main sensor). Fans of ROG Phones might be pleased to learn that the Hi-Res Audio-certified 7 series has given smartphone audio at least as much consideration as its 6 forebears. The Dirac-enhanced dual front-firing speakers are back, as is the all-too-rare 3.5mm jack. Snapdragon Sound, Qualcomm aptX adaptive/Lossless Audio, and an upgrade to Bluetooth 5.3 all contribute to the 7 series' improved wireless performance. Additionally, Asus asserts that the new AeroActive Cooler 7 will increase the bass of the newest high-end smartphones by up to 77%. The new GameCool 7 system, 16,000mm2 of internal graphite, and the new ROG Rapid-Cycle vapor chamber are all enhanced by this most recent ROG Phone "thermoelectric" accessory. The AeroActive Portal, the one additional feature that separates the 7 Ultimate from the standard version of 7, takes it a step further. Prices and availability for additional countries, such the US, will soon be available.
