Nokia 7.2 With An Classy Design Leaked Before Launch

We recently came to know that HMD was working on releasing a Nokia 7.2 smartphone along with the Nokia 6.2. With a launch suspected soon, we have now come to know the specifications and features of the Nokia 7.2 as it's specs, codename, and case renders been leaked online. First things desire, the Nokia 7.2 has been codenamed as "Star-Lord" while its sibling, the Nokia 6.2 has been confirmed to have the codename "Daredevil," reports NPU. In case you do not remember, images of the Nokia Daredevil got leaked on to the internet earlier this month, revealing the design and some key features of what is deemed to be sold as the Nokia 6.2.

Nokia had again back to hit the smartphone industry game back in the year 2017. Since then, The company has completely moved on to release various devices ranging from low to mid specs and price segments. It has been a year since its first-generation launches so we can expect the successors to make an appearance soon. Earlier this month, images surfaced online showcasing a smartphone with a triple camera setup with the model number “TA-1198 “. It is now believed to be the Nokia 7.2 whose case has freshly leaked.

Configuration According to the Nokia, images of Nokia 7.2 has a notched display on the front with negligible bezels on each and every corner and side. On the rear, the device features a triple camera setup which is placed right above the fingerprint scanner. The camera module houses a total of three cameras whose resolutions are currently unknown. The bottom of the device features a USB Type-C charging port which is flanked by a mic and loudspeaker grill on either side. Its top sports a 3.5mm headphone jack and a secondary mic. The renders also detail the volume rockers and power button on the right of the device. An unspecified button is found on the left, which is likely to be a dedicated Google Assistant button as seen with the Nokia 3.1 Plus. TA-1198 is reportedly equipped with the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 SoC and an FHD+ display panel. It's powered by a 3500mAh battery and sports 48MP primary rear camera. More exquisite details regarding the specifications of the device are still a juggle.

Innovations

The Nokia 7.2 will come with the 6.18-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with the resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, an 18.7:9 aspect ratio and a 1:1500 contrast ratio. The device codenamed as Nokia Star-Lord could be powered by a Snapdragon 710 with up to 6GB of RAM. The device is required to run on Android Pie and could be backed by a 3,500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge support. The camera on the Nokia 7.2 will feature a combination of the 48MP Zeiss Optics primary lens, a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an unknown third sensor with an LED flash unit. There is a waterdrop notch on the front of the phone featuring the selfie camera. For connectivity, the Nokia 7.2 comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual microphones with support for Nokia OZO, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, GPS, and 4G LTE. The phone will measure at 156.9 x 76.2 x 7.9mm.
