Not All iOS 16 Features Available on Launch Day

After months of testing, Apple finally released the iOS 16 updates with features like a Lock Screen with widgets, edit and undo sent messages, etc. However, not all features are available. Apple has a history of rolling out new features from time to time; they announce new whistles and bells at WWDC and then, throughout the year, meter them. Similarly, this time around, some features with servers are not yet revealed. Hopefully, the updates will be out before or by iOS 16 1 is launched, which will be in October alongside iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura.

iOS 16

Below are the iOS 16 features that are not yet launched.

Live Activities: It gives real-time updates on the activities from your phone without unlocking. However, Live Activities or its third-party app cannot be accessed until the iOS 16 1 update is out.   iCloud Shared Photo Library: This feature is finally making its way, allowing up to six people to share photos automatically, but you will have to wait a little more. There is no fixed date on when this feature will be released outside the vaguely timed "future iOS 16 release."   iCloud Shared Photo Library in iOS 16   Matter Suppor: It is a new standard for smart home devices, which works through multiple ecosystems saving you the time of looking for certified home devices. This feature is great for the smart home ecosystem but will not be out until the end of this year.   Game Center Features: The Game Center's contacts integration, the activity dashboard, and the profile system will not be rolled out right now. You will have to wait to see what your friends' achievements are and what they are playing. The SharePlay Support, which lets players use multiplayer games automatically on a Facetime call, is also on hold. Game Center Features iOS 16   Freeform App: It is Apple's vision of a shared board in which different users on Facetime can connect in live mode. Apple was ambitious about this feature in WWDC, so it is not unexpected that it did not make it to the launch. However, it will be launched by the end of this year along with iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura.
