Attack entices users by offering to eliminate a filter used by TikTok users participating in the "Invisible Challenge." Attackers claim to have "unfiltered" software that can remove the filter. The download contains malware competent of stealing passwords, credit cards, and other personal information. The Checkmarx report cites attackers who uploaded their TikTok videos publicizing software that they claim can remove the invisible filter.
