If you're worried about the RTX 4090 causing sag in your PC case, consider a built-in spirit level. Yes, you read that correctly: Manli, a European graphics card manufacturer, has proposed incorporating a spirit level. The Manli Gallardo RTX 4090 has those two spirit levels so you can see if the board is sitting straight in its slot or drooping down at all, and as VideoCardz(opens in new tab) points out, it also has a support bracket to help defend against the card sagging down. Also Read: Nvidia Cancels Low-Cost Graphics Card, Leaving Only Expensive Models It's worth noting that a Chinese graphics card manufacturer, whose name we won't mention, is accused of stealing Manli's design and Photoshopping its own logo on top instead, in what appears to be a shameless publicity grab (hence not mentioning the brand). In addition to that support bracket, Manli specifies that the Gallardo RTX 4090 has a toughened metal backplate (aluminium) for added "structural rigidity," and it's a very nice-looking card. Although we have reservations about one of the three fans being partially covered by the metal shroud. (That can't possibly be good for airflow, can it?) VideoCardz notices this is a 3-slot card, but the Manli press release and specs state it's a 3.5-slot board, so it's roughly the usual size. But, hopefully, the aforementioned features will assist as intended, and the spirit level system will notify you of any issues. Manli's new'spirit level' system detects whether your PC is sitting on an uneven desk or uneven flooring. The goal of this collaborative effort is to continuously demonstrate, over time, if there is any developing problem. But it feels generic, and Manli doesn't even mention it on the Gallardo-powered PC's website.
